+ What is the size of the art tablets?

Good Fortune Tablets - are 8 x 8 inches (+/-) 3/8 of an inch (20.3cm x 20.3cm) as the sizes are all slightly a little different depending on each piece and vary from 2 inches to 3-1/4 thick (5cm to 8.3cm) .

Pain and Passion - are more precise in size and are all 8 inches x 8 inches (20.3cm x 20.3 cm) and 3 to 3 ¼ inches thick (7.3cm to 8.3cm)

+ What’s the best way to hang the art?

Plastic inserts with the screw about a half inch protruding from the wall. Typically, you have two types of walls either solid (concrete or brick) or hollow wall which is wood studs or Steel studs with sheetrock (plaster board over top of the studs @ 16 inch centers with spacing in between studs). There are a few wall anchors to choose from as in the attached photos. As long as they are rated for hanging something over 4 pounds it will be safe. Solid wall/ If you have a concrete/brick wall any standard plastic insert made for solid walls will work and leave the screw about a half inch sticking out of the wall. Hollow wall/ For sheetrock wall over Steel or wood studs I recommend the cork screw type insert but there are quite a few styles in the market. I recommend easy anchors (Brand) which is the cork screw type white plastic insert and then leave the screw out about 1/2 inch to hang. You can space the tablets any distant you like from each other to fill the wall area, typically 2 inches away from each other to being spaced out to 10-12 inches for a larger area.

We are working towards selling in North America and Europe and willing to quote on a case by case basis. Ideally, its best to ship 5 or more pieces as it brings the cost down for shipping. We have shipped around the world and not once has any of the art been damaged in transit.

+ How much do they weigh and what are they made from?

The Good Fortune Tablets - Each piece weighs from 1.7kg to 2.2kg and is made from Hydrocal plaster which is a White Gypsum Cement that is a great utility gypsum cement offering higher strengths than typical plaster. There is also a piece of plywood embedded in the back with a bored 35mm hole in the back to hang on the screw in the wall.

Pain & Passion – Each Piece weighs from 0.9kg to 1.3kg and the heart is Hydrocal plaster mounted on a wooden frame wrapped with canvas over plywood. They have a metal hang clip screwed into the back that hangs from a screw inserted in the wall.

+ How are they shipped?

In a corrugated box with foam packing with bubble wrap. We have shipped around the world and not have any broken in the 5 years couriering orders. We ship in China all the time and these boxes get bounced around here; we’ve never had any broken. If your giving as a gift be aware that the recipient may think they are broken as they are so realistic in the fact that the tablets are made to be antiqued and the look is that they are fractured.
